leslie's guiding traditions

In Great Britain, the Rainbow section itself dates back to 1987. As by far the youngest section in Guiding, there are fewer traditions than for the longer-established sections, nevertheless some have developed over the years, and they are featured here.

But some may not realise that actually, there is more to Rainbow history than Rainbows - and it dates back a lot further than 1987 in one part of the UK. For in Northern Ireland, long before Rainbows was thought of, they already had a section for under 7's - called Bunnies. They had their own uniforms, and badges, which were sewn onto their grey neckerchiefs.

So, have a look, and if there are other traditions which should be added, do let me know.
